Google: Keywords Not Included
After a period where alot of people in SEO thought that keywords were not important it has been announced by google that keywords are not important now.
Google have announced that they use about 200 different signals but keywords is not one of the pivotal ones they look at.
This has been apparent when you look at some SERP’s results. I still believe that even though Google say they fully dont use the some meta details that they will have a small influence in the future.
I know and and totally believe that keywords will never play a big part again but I think that google will be using this exercise as a smoke screen to encourage more people to stop spamming tens and tens of keywords in the meta structure.
I am going to perform a little test off the back of this announcement.
