Sun Burn stings

While I am sat here trying to ease the pain I must reflect on yesterday and ask how did I get sub burn?!

I did put sun cream on and I was very cautious about how much to put on but still I am sun burn.

Praise the lord that it is cloudy today as I am in agony. The other issue I have is to try and relieve the pain by getting a cold shower but the only temperature they have is hot. Which makes it appear that my skin is on fire on the backs of my legs.

Dame you milk bottle White. Anyway we are heading off to a water park today that should ease some of my pain I think.

Anyone got a remedy that will get rid of sun burn????

Day One Devon Trip

Well here we are in Devon.

We are at present down the beach and I am tanning along nicely. When I say tanning along nicely I mean as in going from milk bottle White to red.

Anyway at 3.45am the car was packed and we set off to meet gaz philippa and ste. To be honest it was that early that not even the traffic signals had been turned on yet.

Anyway quick journey to gaz and philippas and then we were off on the five and a hour drive to Paignton in devon. The drive down was the easiest one I think I have ever done as there was nothing On the road.

We have been down the beach for the last hour after putting the tents up. The weather is tremendous and I think that this will be brilliant holiday.

Anyway question for you?

Why the hell would you take a tent to the beach. Ok yes it is an idea but the amount of time it took them to put together. It’s not worth the hassle.

It was like watching the chuckle brothers put it together.

Yoda’s come back after 8 day adventure

This only a quick one as it is so late.

Last week I brought me dad down for a week with his two cats. The cats had to stay at seo rocks house as my missus is elurgic to cats.

Well yoda the bugger of the two got out and vanished for 8 days without a trace. We have looked a few times but sign of her.

So last night we created posters to put in local newsagents. This evening I was going to go round but them all and hand in posters.

BUT

Today as though she had not gone missing she was found half asleep in the living room on her normal perch.

Well who cares anyway. She has returned safe and sound.

UK AND US SERPS

This may not be a new change in the SERPS but still have only recently noticed this. I do know that this has been a change over the last two weeks. Anyway this change I think may of come in during the last PR update.

If you search for a global brand such as for example Blackberry or Apple then you will see some slightly different results appear. These results now show the USA SERPS for the bigger brands which is is a bit strange as you would think that after all the geo targeting fuss that has been created then google would not on purpose place US results in UK SERP’s.

Here is a video that Matt Cutts has created to explain why this happens and this is really good to explain the SERPS appearance.

This is brought me to think of something else. Google maps is back in the SERP’s with anger over the last few weeks. It was about 9 months ago when Google Local was not accepting entries and Google appeared to be fazing google maps out of the SERP’s altogether but they seems to be bringing this back into play again.

I am going to have investigate this me thinks.

Guide to Direct Messaging new Followers

This is a quick guide to creating Direct Messaging for new followers.

Firstly go to Socialoomph -https://www.socialoomph.com/

Once here then you have to register.

You will then be asked to fill in all your details on the next page.

After completing this you will then be sent a email to confirm your registration. Check your emails and confirm the registration email.

Once completed you will be taken to the login screen. Once logged in you will be presented with this screen,

In the Social Accounts click on the ‘add a new twitter account’. This will give you the following screen,

Click ‘Authorize Access’ then you be presented with the following screen

Fill in your Username and Pasword then clcik allow. This will then take you back to SocialOomph site, to this screen

Fill in the box highlighted above and then save this and you are all set. You can direct message all new followers.

This is the quick guide to achieve Direct Messaging when you gain followers.
